Personal Branding

 Ever since I was a kid I have had a passion for music, and for the past year I have been working to grow my own brand which combines my passion with my education. I have been applying what I have learned to develop a brand around the music I put out. I manage social media accounts, create my own album covers, and self-distribute all of my music to major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. This project has taught me how to grow and create a brand from the ground up, and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and tactics. With my latest release, I was able to hit one thousand plays in the first three days of my release and maintain steady growth to its current play count at over three thousand plays. My first-hand practice with these skills gives me an understanding of how to create and analyze social media posts and the marketing strategies involved with growing a brand.
